9 HOLE OPTIONS
If your golfer is ready to head out and see what they can do, but maybe not ready to dedicate 4 plus hours to it, here are some 9 Hole events you could look into above the 9 hole options that you can have a caddy. All of these tours allow you to sign up for as few or as many events as you want!
PAR 3 TOURS
There are two Par 3 tours location in Milwaukee and Madison. These tours are great for golfers that are ready to branch off on their own but may want to limit the length of the holes as well as the time of the round. One thing to be aware of is unlike the tours that allow a caddy, these events limit the interaction between the parents and players. You can of course ask if they need anything, help find a ball or console an upset child, but longer conversations or help choosing clubs are not allowed so make sure your golfer is aware of that ahead of time. This tour has three age groups ranging from 7 to 18.
HELLO NORTHERN WISCONSIN!! This tour is developing towards Milwaukee, however it has Primarily been around Northern Wisconsin which gives the north a great option for regularly occurring tournaments. This tour has several different tour types that allow for ages 5 up to 18.
The Futures Tour is a 9 hole tour that has two age groups, 11 and under and 12-14. These events are all over the state at many great courses, rewarding the top 3 in each age group with medals as well as a running points system for the Player of the Year!
The Milwaukee County Tour has both 9 and 18 hole options for ages 10-18. Ages 10-12 will play 9 holes and ages 13-18 will play 18 holes.
